Blue Danube has started to use the latest version of NAUTILUS DJ music scheduling system.
The latest version of NAUTILUS DJ is a complex system which makes more easier the creating a playlist for a station. The program is not only a music scheduler, but also schedule the jingles, IDs, imports the traffic logs.
Creating song groups, and assigning them for schedule positions makes it easier to create more varied playlists. Instead of assigning certain percentages to categories you can assign plays (how many time you want to hear a song/group for the next 4 weeks) to songs, or to group of songs. This way the Musisc Director has better control over rotation. Creating a clock could be more easier with the new program: assigning the group of songs to different clock positions with the help of the newly established interface is much easier then ever.
The Radio Blue Danube is the user of NAUTILUS systems since 1996. They have four stations at the moment and planning to expand their network. They running the network from one studio. Different news, weather, comercials, and traffic infos are running from one studio with the help of the NAUTILUS system elements. As the market is getting more crowded the music scheduling gets bigger importance. The main reason to upgrade for the new system that the station wanted to use the music research information more effectively. Blue Danube is planning different formats for the net to run with automatic scheduling also based on the new DAUTILUS DJ-s algorythm. |
